Travel Health Advice and Vaccinations
Please note that it would be helpful if you could make an
appointment at least 6 weeks prior to travelling.
A second appointment may be required with the practice nurse to
actually receive the vaccinations. Many vaccines have to be ordered
as they are not routinely stocked at the practice.
Please bring your holiday itinerary with you to the appointment
with the Practice Nurse.
Some travel vaccines have to be ordered on a private prescription basis. This is because not all travel vaccination are available on the NHS. If the vaccines you require are not available on the NHS you will incur a charge. Please check in advance the costs of such vaccines.
