Practice Information

The practice is based in a converted town house in central Harrogate. A branch surgery is located at a nearby PCT owned Health Centre where a doctor holds a morning surgery 3 days a week and a practice nurse runs a surgery a week. Our list size is currently 5000.

We have a close-knit Primary Health Care Team with daily contact with our practice nurses and regular contact with district nurses and health visiting teams based in the surgery. We meet weekly as a team to discuss the management of patients and for team education. We undertake the Gold Standards in Palliative Care and hold a more formal palliative care meeting on monthly basis. We have a dedicated Mental Health Link Worker and Practice Counsellor. A chiropody clinic is held at the surgery. The community midwives run ante-natal clinics at both sites.

 Clinics for chronic disease management are run by our excellent practice nurses with input from nominated partners. Minor surgery and cryo-cautery clinics are held on a regular basis. Out of hours work is provided by NY&Y PCT
